You will receive a copy of these directions when you drop off your passengers! 1. Parking at the temple parking lot will be extremely limited. Most of the parking spaces will be reserved those with specially issued parking passes or those with valid handicapped parking stickers. 2. Please drop off your passengers and drive to the designated parking at the Fairfax County Park and Ride Lot on Gambrill Rd located at 7321 Gambrill Rd, Springfield, VA 22153 following the these directions: From the Durga Temple parking lot: • Make a right turn to Copper Leaf Way • Turn Left on Hooes Rd [VA-636] and travel 1.2 miles. • Turn Right toward VA-7100 South/ Fairfax County Parkway. • Stay Straight to go onto ramp • Merge onto Fairfax County Parkway • Travel 1 mile • Take the first exit to VA 640- Sydenstricker Rd/Gambrill Rd. • Pass the first light on the exit ramp and proceed to Gambrill Rd. • Make a right at Gambrill Rd. • The Park and Ride parking lot is located on the left hand side, across from the Sunoco gas station. 3. Shuttles will run frequently during the following hours: Saturday, Feb 18: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Sunday, Feb 19: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Fairfax County Police and temple volunteers will provide necessary assistance and guidance to the visitors at the temple entrance. PLEASE FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS 4. Temple Parking Lot is expected to be able to handle the parking needs on Friday February 17, 2006. • Please be advised that the parking of cars at the Gambrill Parking lot overnight, is not permitted • PLEASE DO NOT PARK cars on the curbside of Hooes Rd adjacent to the temple or on Copper Leaf Way. • DO NOT PARK IN the adjacent shopping center on Silverbrook Rd. YOU WILL BE TOWED.! |
